How AI Supports My Daily Life
Every Monday morning, I kick off the week with a good breakfast and a quick session with ChatGPT — not for work, but to organize my personal life. I ask it to help plan my meals, create a workout schedule based on my fitness goals, and even generate a grocery list. Whether I’m aiming for quick high-protein meals or a balanced training routine, AI helps streamline the process and set me up for a productive week.
Later in the day, I shift from meal plans to media plans — and once again, AI is part of the process. In my role as an Ad Operations Specialist, I use it to help build and manage digital campaigns more efficiently. From setting up ads to optimizing performance across platforms like Google and Meta, AI tools save me hours of manual work and make the entire workflow smoother and faster.
AI at Work: Smarter Campaigns, Less Busywork

As an Ad Operations Specialist, my job involves a mix of media planning, execution, and performance analysis. AI has become an essential co-pilot in this workflow. Whether it’s using Meta’s Advantage+ to automatically test and optimize creatives, or leveraging Google’s Performance Max campaigns for broader reach, AI is helping streamline processes that used to take hours.
One of the biggest time-savers for me is using AI-powered tools to analyze campaign data. Instead of manually slicing spreadsheets, I can now ask tools like Growify, ChatGPT or built-in platform features to surface key insights. “Which audiences are performing best?” “What creatives have the highest CTR?” — getting answers feels more like having a quick conversation than digging through dashboards.
AI also plays a big role in personalizing ad experiences. From automated copywriting to predictive audience targeting, we’re now able to deliver more relevant messages to users at scale. In past campaigns, I’ve used AI tools to dynamically generate ad headlines based on user behavior — which not only improved relevance but also saved time by reducing the usual back-and-forth with the creative team.
The Bigger Picture: How AI is Reshaping Marketing
Of course, this technology isn’t just changing how I work — it’s transforming the entire marketing industry.
We’re seeing a shift from manual execution to strategic oversight. AI takes care of repetitive tasks, freeing up time for us to focus on creative thinking and high-level strategy. Roles are evolving — ad ops professionals aren’t just media buyers anymore; we’re becoming system architects, data analysts, and creative collaborators.
But with great power comes responsibility. As marketers, we need to stay aware of AI’s limitations and ethical considerations — especially when it comes to data usage and personalization. The human touch still matters. AI is a tool, not a replacement.
For me, integrating AI into both my personal and professional life has been a game-changer. It helped me work smarter, live more intentionally, and stay ahead in a fast-moving industry.
